Michael Scott is a senior at Iowa State University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in NDE. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, he is currently employed at the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation (CNDE) as an undergraduate research assistant in the terahertz lab under Dr. Chiou. This research involves the measurement of properties of Thermal Barrier Coatings, and the inspection of polyethylene piping and its joints.
