Do-Kyung Pyun is a PhD student in Engineering Mechanics at Iowa State University (ISU). He completed his B. S. degree in mechanical engineering in 2015 and M. S. degree in convergence mechanical engineering in 2017 from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea. His research at CNDE involves the development of quantitative NDE techniques based on linear and nonlinear ultrasound for evaluating material properties and microstructural changes in simple and complex systems. His studies include analytical solutions and numerical analysis of bonded materials and rough interfaces.
