Bio:
Evan Smith is in his fourth year as an undergraduate student in aerospace engineering at Iowa State University. He is currently assisting Dr. Timothy Bigelow in finishing a dust metal 3-D printer that is housed in an environmentally controlled vacuum chamber. He will also be assisting Dr. Bigelow with research dealing with laser generated ultrasonic waves. His is interested in applying the Nondestructive Evaluation skills learned during the research to the aerospace field after graduation.
