Technical Assistance Program (via CIRAS)
Work with Iowa Manufacturers to Address Issues of Inspection and Quality Control
- Explain & demonstrate various inspection methods (see image)
- Perform feasibility studies on specific applications
- Develop/Evaluate inspection procedures at client facilities
- Provide unbiased information of NDT products, labs and services
Performance Goals Include:
- Customer Processes, including projects completed, attendees at industrial events and fees collected
- Technology Diffusion, lately focused on developments in X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Business Processes that center on Social Responsibility
- Leadership & Growth skills, professional development, networking within outreach effort
