Bio:
Mohammed Farook Maricar is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University. He earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah in 2004 and returned to complete his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2023 after more than 17 years in industry. He also served as a Research Associate at the American University of Sharjah. Currently, he is a graduate research assistant at the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation (CNDE), where his research focuses on advanced microwave and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging techniques using deep learning.
