On October 6th 2014 a bronze bust commemorating the life of R. Bruce Thompson was unveiled at CNDE. The bust was a memorial commissioned by his graduate students and sculpted by Rebecca Ekstrand.
The bust now stands in the lobby of Applied Science II to greet visitors to the center.
