Trishelle is a Ph.D. student in the Electromagnetic Materials Design and Characterization Group from the Department of Materials Science & Engineering. She is a Graduate Education for Minorities (GEM) Full Fellow, sponsored through the Nuclear Science & Technology department at Brookhaven National Laboratory to study property-performance relationships on metallic alloys used in nuclear power applications. She was also recipient of the 2019 ASNT Fellowship Award for her proposed work titled “A Hybrid Non-Destructive Evaluation Probe for Characterization of Oxidized Nuclear Fuel Cladding Alloys.”

materials engineering research, thin-film photovoltaic devices, characterizing materials for extreme environments, biocompatible materials
