Bio:

Russell Manternach is an undergraduate student in Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. He currently conducts research in terahertz imaging with Dr. C. Thomas Chiou. Specifically, he assists in prototyping a scan setup for CNDE’s high-speed, high-precision terahertz scan system and processes and analyzes the resulting data. Russell is a Dean’s List student and a member of the Golden Key Honors Society. He also participates in the Emerging Leaders in Engineering (ELE) club and the Young Americans for Freedom club. After completing his B.S. degree next year, he plans to continue his studies and research to obtain a M.S. degree in aerospace engineering with an emphasis on NDE.
