Bio:

Daniela Munalli is a visiting research fellow from the University of Nottingham (UoN) currently based at the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation (CNDE) of Iowa State University (ISU). After graduating from Sapienza University of Rome with a B.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2010, she earned her M.Sc. degree in Aeronautical engineering in 2017 and a M.Eng. degree in Civil Aviation Management in 2018 from Sapienza University of Rome. Since 2017, she is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Stage researcher and PhD candidate at The University of Nottingham. Her research involves the possible application of Microwaves NDE methods to carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) for damage assessment and characterization.
