Chester Lo received the D.Phil.
in materials from the University of Oxford in 1998.
He worked as a Postdoctoral
Fellow from 1998 to 2000 at Ames Laboratory, Department of Energy,
Ames, Iowa. He is currently an Associate Scientist with the Center
for Nondestructive Evaluation, Iowa State University. His research
interests include magnetic nondestructive testing techniques,
functional magnetic materials such as magnetostrictive materials and
magnetic particles for sensor and biotechnology applications, and
advanced magnetic characterizations of nano-materials using Lorentz
transmission electron microscopy and scanning probe microscopy. He
has authored peer-reviewed 76 research articles in the fields of
magnetic materials, magnetic NDE and sensors. He has recently been
elected to membership of the Universal Network of Magnetic NDE.
