At CNDE working with Dave Hsu and Dan Barnard
Richard is
working with the air-coupled ultrasonics group
on the Army armor project. He doing Finite Element Modeling of
samples, scanning sample with different methods and configurations,
and comparing the FEA results to the scan results. The comparison of
the results help to improve the FE models which in turn help to
direct where and how to scan for defects.
