Nicola's
recent CNDE-based research activities include: development of
nondestructive evaluation of depth of case-hardening in steels
using four-point potential drop methods (NSF/IU program),
development of a new microstrip sensor for detecting
inhomogeneities in low-conductivity structures (US Air Force),
and development of capacitive NDE for investigating integrity of
wiring insulation (NASA).
