Anson Marston Distinguished Professor David Jiles has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. The journal is devoted to areas of science and technology related to the basic physics of magnetism, magnetic materials, applied magnetics and magnetic devices. IEEE Transactions on Magnetics is published by the Magnetics Society, which is the world’s leading professional organization devoted to the study of magnetism and magnetic materials, with branches in industrialized countries throughout the world. Jiles has been an editor of the transactions since 1992 and a Fellow of the Magnetics Society since 1994.
